Free to meet. Using Premium and Vault is optional.
Free: the app, joining events, hosting, people nearby, chats and meetings. Some events have their own ticket, paid to the organiser.
How it works
Say why you're here
When you sign up, say you're here to make friends, and add whether you live here, are new in town or are just visiting.
See who's nearby
Open the map or the list of people. The Here for filter finds people who show the same reason on their profile.
Start a chat
Write to someone you'd like to meet, or join an event and talk in its group chat.
Meet in person
Plan a place, date and time in the chat. Once you've met, you both tap We met.
You decide what others see
Adults only
Meet & Mint is for people aged 18 and over.
Approximate location
By default, others see you within about 2 km, unless you show your exact location. Hide any time.
Private meeting point
Only the host and confirmed participants see it.
Block and report
Our team reviews reports. Support is in the app.
Short answers
Can I chat first and meet later?
Yes. Open the profile of someone nearby and start a chat, and meet when it feels right. If you like, show Open to chat on your profile.
Can I go to an event alone?
Yes. Join alone and say hello in the event's group chat before you go.
What if there's nobody near me?
It depends on your city, and the app tells you when it's quiet. You can look further, or create an event that people around you will see on the map.
Is my location visible?
By default, no: others see that you are within about 2 km. You can choose to show your exact location, or hide from the map. An event's meeting point is shown only to confirmed participants.
